Recently, 392 tons of large h-section steel rolled by the Laiwu branch of Shan Steel for the Hong Kong waste power generation project came off the production line. The maximum height of the product is 926.6 mm, the width is 307.7 mm, the product performance index fully meets the technical standard requirements. The project is the first modern large-scale municipal solid waste incineration project in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China. As an important livelihood project in Hong Kong, the project will be able to handle 3,000 tons of mixed municipal waste per day, which will greatly reduce the pressure on Hong Kong's nearly saturated landfills and solve the problem of waste disposal that has plagued Hong Kong for decades. The project has strict requirements on steel performance index and Steel Enterprise Qualification, among which the development and production of super-size products are extremely difficult. The successful development of large-scale hot-rolled h-section steel products by Shan Gang in Laiwu is the second cooperation between Shan Gang and Zhonghai fulu heavy industry after the Canadian LNG (liquefied natural gas) project, it is of great significance for Laiwu branch of Shan Steel to further develop the market of large-scale environmental protection projects at home and abroad and to enhance the influence of h beam brand of Shan Steel Group.
